Details:

We are an independent insurance company able to sell over 60 different insurance companies products.  Although we sell the top private health insurance products in the nation...we are excited to introduce to the public the new government health insurance plan available to those who are currently unable to receive healthcare coverage.  With the new healthcare act Nebraska is 1 of 34 states eligible for the PCIP (Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan) government healthcare program.  This program is heavily underutilized in the state of Nebraska.  States like Texas and Florida have taken advantage of this federal program already and we feel like the good people of Nebraska deserve the opportunity to get the proper healthcare coverage they need.  Our health insurance fair held on January 13th, 14th, and 15th will give the people of Omaha a chance to learn about the new government program as well as health insurance in general.

Question: Who is eligible for Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan? (PCIP government healthcare plan)

Answer: To be eligible for the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan,

  • You must be a citizen or national of the United States or reside in the U.S. legally.
  • You must have been without health coverage for at least the last six months. Please note that if you currently have insurance coverage that doesn’t cover your medical condition or are enrolled in a state high risk pool, you are not eligible for the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan.
  • You must have a pre-existing condition or have been denied coverage because of your health condition.

Legacy Financial Booth 1019--October 12th, 2011 Big O show, Century Link Center Omaha, NE

Special thanks to everyone who attended the Legacy Financial booth at the Big O Show 2011!

Meet Rob Reiss, our Big O Show winner!  His guess of $116.66 was closest to the actual amount of $116.99.

We had 285 entrys to win the Legacy Financial money jar.

We asked some simple insurance questions on the entry form and here is what we found....

Of the 285 entrys:

·         164 showed interest in life insurance products

·         192 said they thought they were paying too much for insurance

·         60 entrys were business owners looking to lower their business insurance premiums

A quick tid bit about whole life insurance:

There have been steady annual declines in the sale of life insurance policies for the past 20 years.

Back in the 1970’s and 80’s when a family had money trouble or a husband lost his job, the family didn’t just declare bankruptcy…They pulled money out of their whole life policy to supplement their income through tough times.  Instead of using debt creating resources like credit cards, home equity loans, and 2nd mortgages for emergency money, invest in a cash building whole life product that will protect you and your family forever!!!
